Northwest Passages put out the call to local high school students for their submissions for our inaugural Spokane Black Stories Symposium, who will present their work. \nNAACP President and Spokesman-Review columnist Kiantha Duncan talks with tv producer Mandi Price about her experiences from Spokane to Hollywood... After a brief stint at KHQ, Price flew to Los Angeles to work in television production to continue her quest to tell stories that matter. Jumping into the creative process, she hustled her way from production assistant to Producer in record time, often being the youngest person and only person of color in the room. \nRacial-Equity reporter Amber Dodd joins the panel to speak with selected high school students presenting their artistic perspectives on the Black experience today in Spokane.
